Seasonal Firefighter

Temporary Position

$18-$22/hr depending on experience

Prospect Rural Fire Protection District is an all volunteer fire district located in the Upper Rogue River Area in Southern Oregon. Our primary purpose is to protect the lives and property of our citizens. We accomplish this mission by delivering emergency medical services, fire suppression operations, and public education. We seek talented, experienced, proven fire service professionals to join our team as the fire district's next Seasonal Firefighter.

Minimum requirements:

• 18+ years old
• Valid OR Drivers License
• CPR Training

Preferred:

• Wildland Firefighter 2
• Wildland Firefighter 1
• Structural Firefighter 1
• Structural firefighter 2
• First Responder
• EMT Basic
• Familiarity with the Prospect area.

• Be in good health, free from any medical or physical conditions that would prevent performing essential job functions

• Pass a background investigation prior to hiring

• Possess a valid Oregon Driver's License prior to employment

• Possess current American Heart Association CPR/BLS certification or equivalent
